VACANT POSITIONS

HEAD MECHANIC

A Head Mechanic manages and maintains golf carts and other equipment under the direction of the Superintendent. The role includes regular repairs, maintenance, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order. The mechanic will also maintain a clean and safe work area, handle various machinery, and ensure golf buggies are available and in good condition for use.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform major and minor mechanical repairs on golf carts with the Head Mechanic.

  • Inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical issues in the golf cart fleet (both battery and fuel-powered).

  • Conduct general overhauls and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

  • Ensure sufficient supplies for all equipment, coordinating with suppliers as needed.

  • Work with the Golf team to ensure proper cart usage and provide assistance.

  • Be flexible with work locations, which may include other properties and temporary locations for special events.

  • Submit monthly management reports and meet deadlines for other reports.

  • Communicate professionally using various methods, adhering to company guidelines.

  • Use problem-solving techniques to address and resolve issues collaboratively.


Qualifications

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years of mechanical experience.

  • Proficiency in maintaining golf course equipment, preferably with experience in John Deere equipment.

  • Background in engine repair, overhauls, and reconstruction.

  • Experience in mowing reel and bed knife grinding (Folley grinders is a plus).

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Skills in rewiring and electrical troubleshooting.

  • Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.

  • Familiarity with maintaining ClubCar and EZGO golf buggies is a plus.

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and storekeeping experience are beneficial.

  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including potential night shifts and extended hours during summer.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Utilize financial, budget, and accounting expertise to support operations in evaluating costs, ensuring the budget accurately reflects the current and future performance of the business unit.​

Main Responsibilities

  • Verify all settlements done on the POS system daily and monthly sales.

  • Check the cost of sales, ensure they are within budget, and communicate with the manager.

  • Ensure correct menu pricing is loaded on the POS systems.

  • Reconcile daily restaurant and bar sales from POS and checks.

  • Verify and approve all complimentary checks.

  • Reconcile vendor accounts.

  • Issue invoices to credit customers as per the City Ledger report.

  • Follow up with suppliers for WCC to upload invoices on the online portal where applicable.

  • Process supplier payments in the ERP system.

  • Follow up with customers for invoice payments.

  • Conduct surprise spot checks at all F&B outlets.

  • Participate in monthly stock-taking at restaurants.

  • Post invoices in the system as per purchase orders.

  • Coordinate with restaurant management and finance to resolve F&B issues.

  • Update selling prices in POS as instructed by authorized personnel.

  • Reconcile daily credit card transactions with daily sales and report discrepancies to the bank and our team.

  • Verify daily cash collections with the system and prepare for bank deposits.

  • Upload invoices to the supplier portal.

  • Book month-end closing entries.

  • Prepare monthly hospitality reports and share them with the finance manager.

  • Update monthly accruals for each department in QNCC.

  • Send daily sales reports to all concerned personnel.

  • Continuously identify and suggest improvements for weaknesses in F&B controls.

  • Perform any other tasks as required by management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent is essential.

  • Partly Qualified Accountant (CPA or Chartered) is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Cost Controller, preferably in a hospitality environment.

  • Knowledge of ERP and Hospitality Accounting software.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Fluency in English with effective communication skills at all levels.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
